"Is she gonna hang that in her house?"

Thanks for another one-liner, NeNe. In reference to Sheree's massive self-portrait which was really nice although slightly unnecessary.

Here's what happened:

Sheree plans her own Independence Party since Anthony threatened to "check" her on the first episode of this season... So, she does one of the vainest things I've seen in a while and has an enormous, astronomical portrait done of her favorite subject: herself. Nice... throwing a party for herself, and "debuting" a self portrait of herself... sounds like a lot of self-glorification to me... but Sheree has "been through a lot..." Divorcing her athlete husband must have been tough for her and her kids but her "some 7 figures" should have certainly made things a little easier... Anyway, Sheree seemed to have had a nice time at her party aside from the never-ending NeNe & Kim drama... on to those ladies...

Kim recorded "Tardy for the Party" as we know... without NeNe. Evidently NeNe really wanted to sing that song because tonight she got severe on Kim while they were talking about it... so Kim, in typical Zolciak fashion left the party... of course they didn't talk about it in an attempt to resolve anything... that would be too Jill & Bethenny of them. Anyway, Kim also talked about Poppa tonight... interesting. He should perhaps listen to Beyonce's "Single Ladies." Kim wants a ring. And I'm certain she doesn't just want any ring, nope. Kim wants a RING of monumental proportions and based on tonight's preview, next week she's getting it! Maybe. You know how Bravo likes to trick us reality junkies... Anticipation gets all of us, so we'll see! Side note: Cori should wear a one-piece... good thing she's married! Hahaha... that was rude, but seriously... Now Kim knows she is ridiculous with those jewels... $32,000 is not "that bad" for a gold necklace? Kim. Seriously. That's a GMC Acadia, honey.

NeNe's writer I guess came over to talk about her book... NeNe's book written by someone else...? Whatever I guess. I'll see if my friend Kelly wants to read that one and fill me in on it haha... She wants a chapter about her dad, whom we learned last season is not actually her dad... from what I've heard, we would need a separate book just to cover all of that...

Dear Kandi,
Can you please stop being amazing at everything?
Thanks,
The Rest of the world.

OMG. Singer/Song writer, Producer and now: Actress. She was so good. Everything she does, and she's definitely one of the classiest among the ATL housewives. I also appreciate that she's lived in her house since she was 19 and has just remodeled and added on instead of moving like everyone else. Also, Lisa & Kandi are BFF's now... love it. Only a matter of time before something happens... How nice was it of Ed to bring Lisa flowers after her performance? So nice. And Dwight even had something nice to say about Kandi's "Pocketbook Monologue."

Alright: Next week. Wow. Will Big Poppa "put a ring on it?" We'll see... stay tuned!

UPDATE: 9/27: I "tweeted" Kandi and got a reply! Here it is... I love the ATL housewives for replying to me... Jill & Bethenny have too many followers so I understand... I would still die if either of them ever replied to me! haha

@KandiConnection you're definitely my favorite ATL housewife! is there anything you're not good at? you're so good at everything :)

The Unveiling...

of the Alter Ego Photo shoot. Amazing. Kandi's was the best, so much emotion behind the entire photo, rather than it just being for fun. MADD should pick it up for an ad. Anyway, NeNe's was hilarious, she obviously had no problems embracing her inner-stripper. I loved Lisa's! So funny, like she said though, not so much her... Gangsta-Boo, whatever... Sheree's was semi-fitting... really liked hers too. And, last but not least, Kim... it was nice, but I would have loved to have met "Keena!" As we know, NeNe wanted Kim to be a black girl, "Oh no she is not trying to not be a black girl! She better get black & get black fast!" So funny! Wonder if she would've kept the blonde too... anyway, Kim took a nasty fall on the steps of the venue where they unveiled the photos... completely stole the show. I'm thinking it was some kind of plot to get everyone to the car and listen to "Tardy for the Party" which she had recorded, days? weeks? earlier. I had a little bit of compassion for Kim after the fall, especially since she wasn't even buzzed, ha!

Kim recorded this week, have to be honest, she wasn't that bad! Try and listen to your favorite artist in the studio and tell me they sound just like they do on your iPod... chances are you'd be unpleasantly surprised. Not saying Kim was any Mariah Carey or Madonna but she wasn't too bad. Of course, the only line she sang was the tag "Don't be Tardy for the Party" but from what I heard it wasn't too bad. And she overcame her fear of being the studio and actually singing. Now about "Tardy for the Party." It's catchy as hell, it will get stuck in your head just from hearing someone say the word "Party" and it is no longer a country song... Kandi's genius shined once again and it's now a pop song, coming to a radio near you soon, I'm certain... probably already playing the ATL... wouldn't surprise me.

Side Note: On "Watch What Happens" Andy again asked Kim if she was wearing She by Sheree, and then asked if she was wearing Closet Freaks, her reply "Hell no." I told Kim on twitter that she should stick to D&G and leave She & Closet Freaks alone... to which I got no reply... I would rather Bethenny or Jill reply to me anyway... however; Kim's working her way back up on my good list... not gonna go out and buy a Team Kim shirt yet, but she's not so bad.

Good episode this week, but next weeks is going to be epic! Stay tuned...

"Dear Chicken,

Please don't give us Salmonella poisoning. Love, Kate." I admire Kate Gosselin for playing both roles. I think Collin said it best: "We only do fun things when you're here..." he said to Kate. My response would have been: "Well Collin, that's because mommy's trying to keep you guys in a normal lifestyle while daddy's off sleeping with 20 year olds..." Kate's a better person than me though.

At least Jon did something with their children on this episode. Something rather than feel up on the baby sitter while Cara calls Kate. Anyway... the kids seemed to have had fun fishing but the movie night seemed like more fun! No tears were shed during the movie night at least... Jon's trying to create experiences rather than just spending time with his children I feel.

You could tell when Kate left that she was genuinely upset about leaving her children. The way Jon talks about Broadway & Park Ave. in "the City" as he put it, doesn't seem like he minds it so much. Although he does say he likes leaving "the City" to come "home" to the country to spend time with his kids...

And, Jon didn't wear a fun hat like Kate did. Can you tell I'm on Team Kate?

Fishing day two seemed like it was more fun. They all "catched" some fish! I think Mady & Cara are adorable when they adopt the mommy role. You can tell Kate's taught them well.

Side Note: The Gosselin kitchen turned out great. Props to the designer... I could tell Kate loves it, and I'm sure Jon's chef doesn't mind it either.

"You know why I'm not an 8?!"

"Because I'm f*ckin' hungry!" -NeNe Leaks... ha!

Real Housewives of Atlanta. What a show! Thursday's episode was the unveiling of Lisa's clothing line, "Closet Freak." Interesting was the word. The pieces were different and I wasn't too sure what some of those outfits were doing. According to Dwight, the whole line was Dwrong, down to the set and Lisa's staff. Sheree was late. 2 hours late. Her son had a concert of sorts and she said she could never miss that, not even for Lisa's show. I do believe Sheree in this case. I don't think she was in any way trying to attack Lisa by not showing up. She wouldn't have shown up at all. Interesting that Lisa calls herself a designer but she doesn't "sew or sketch." I guess it's not so different from Sheree, except that Lisa had a fashion show, with some fashion so I guess it wasn't as "dreadful" as Sheree's showing with no fashions... another one liner from Dwight.

While I'm on Sheree, has anyone else noticed that EVERY week Andy Cohen asks his guests if they're either wearing He or She by Sheree... I was prepared tonight and still almost spit my Diet Coke across the room. I'm sensing a little bit of jealousy from Sheree toward Lisa, not so much that she would intentionally skip Lisa's show, just a little envy that Lisa pulled hers together so quickly although like I said... Neither of them "sew or sketch" so what do they actually do? Sheree must still be waiting for her "some seven figures" before She by Sheree takes off...

Another exciting part of this episode was Kim's wig party, which NeNe & Lisa were conveniently "Tardy" for. Interestingly enough, the unemployed, wig-wearing, Bentley driving Kim charged up a storm on her Black Amex to the tune of $3000 for her youngest daughter earlier that day. Her and "Big-Poppa" are donezo? I think not. Some of the wigs were nice, some dreadful... Kim looked much better in the toned down brown wig and even the Victoria Beckham style short wig. All in favor of Kim changing it up say aye. I died when NeNe put on the Kim-esque wig and started singing "Tightrope" and acting like Kim. What was equally hysterical was NeNe "on the phone" with Poppa, then she crossed the line a little... but seriously... on an slightly similar note, what is that engagement-esque HUGE diamond ring Kim wears? Is she engaged to herself? Like I said, there is clearly more to this picture that we're not seeing. Side note: I told Kim on Twitter that I love her new Bentley. Her reply: "@JamieBertolini ok thanks. lol" ... not sure how to take that but at least I got a reply!

NeNe & Greg had a discussion with NeNe's son Bryce who has dropped out of college, favoring a more, thug-like lifestyle... staying out all night, etc. and his hair was a hot disaster until NeNe's crew came in and braided that mess. Now evidently he's ready to get back to school or get a job... all because of some braids? NeNe is a special case. She cracks me up! Dancing & singing "Tightrope" all while wearing the blonde "Kim Wig" was hysterical. I love how she subtly tried to knock people down yet is most times unsuccessful. She's no Jill or Bethenny but she's probably my favorite from ATL.

Anyway... What do I say about Kandi except she's amazing. Either Kim's been practicing or Kandi's been mixing because the difference in "Tightrope" and "Tardy for the Party" is evident. I did love when Kandi's words were so undistinguishable that they had to put up subtitles for us... Speaking of "Tightrope" the flashback was awesome! As if any of us had forgotten how fabulous that was, Thursday's episode reminded us. If Kandi can work that kind of magic, any of us can be singers! Kandi has given me absolutely no reason not to like her, I think she's genuine and holds nothing back. And like I said, she's clearly a genius in the studio, haha!
